Access BDD
Flow X Stairlift
/
The Flow X is the latest innovation in stairlifts from Access BDD. Featuring a stylish and ergonomic design, the chair has a large backrest and seat area. The Flow X is an ergonomically designed lift that supports both sitting and standing transfers, featuring armrests that provide essential support during these movements. The stairlift also has a five-degree seat recline, promoting a natural and healthy posture whilst making you feel more comfortable and secure when travelling up and down stairs. The armrests also feature an ergonomic design, and the controls on them are very easy to use. The joystick features a comfortable soft-touch grip and can fold away neatly into the Flow X armrest. There is also a call device on one of the armrests that allows the user to stay connected with friends and family, with three telephone numbers being directly contactable from the Flow X stairlift. The Flow X includes an optional integrated call device in the armrest, programmable to call up to three telephone numbers contactable directly.
The seatbelt on the Flow X can be operated with one hand, meaning you can easily secure yourself in your seat. The seatbelt includes a detection system to ensure the user is properly secured before the stair lift operates, and the armrests must be in the correct position for the stair lift to function. The armrest also wraps around you to keep you secure and comfortable throughout your journey.
The Advanced Swivel and Levelling Technology (ASL) is unique to the Flow X stairlift, which allows the stairlift to rotate while in motion and can be fitted on staircases as narrow as 610mm (or 24 inches). The Flow X is distinguished by its ability to auto-swivel during travel, ensuring users are positioned at the safest angle. The footrest is adjustable, linked to the seat, and features an anti-slip surface for safety. The discrete single rail design also ensures your stairlift is less obtrusive and your staircase remains accessible to friends or family members. The Flow X features a space-saving design with a single rail fitted to the stairs and automatic folding of the seat, armrests, and footrest, minimising the footprint on the floor and reducing trip hazards.
Condition: Reconditioned
The Flow X stairlift is battery-powered, continues to operate during power outages, and the batteries recharge when parked.
The Flow X stairlift is available as both a new unit and a rental option, and installation typically takes 2-4 hours for straight models and 4-6 hours for curved models.
