The added benefits of a Swivel Seat

On arrival at the top of your stairs you will need to swivel your seat round so that you can exit safely and smoothly onto your landing. The Minivator Simplicity swivel operates by pressing down only.

Manual Swivel
A handle is provided at either side of the seat, these are operated by pressing either handle down, or pulling it up. Once you have swivelled your seat safely around to face the right direction for exiting the stairlift, it will lock into place ready for you to dismount safely onto the landing.

Powered Swivel
If you continue to hold the toggle on arrival at the top of your staircase, the swivel action is automatically activated. All of our powered swivels have a manual override release for you safety and comfort in an emergency to improve stairway access if required.

User Friendly
Minivator stairlifts are very easy to use. Simple switch operation makes them accessible even for users with limited dexterity. By pressing or holding the large, robust toggle switch the user can easily shift direction of travel. Located at the end of the seat arm it can be easily operated by the hand or arm and leaves the arm rest clear to provide unhindered support when getting on or off the seat.
